The Ute Mountain Roundup Rodeo is thrilled to welcome KRIS FURR to Montezuma County this year!
Freestyle bullfighting is kind of like the skateboard vert ramp event at the X-games, except the ramp has two massive horns, weighs 1,500 pounds, and desperately wants to kill you.”
The rules are simple – you’ve got 60 seconds to pull off as many tricks as possible. The more dangerous and stylish, the more points. You also get points for how ferocious your opponent is. Whoever gets the most points walks home with the cash.
Kris finished 3rd in the bullfighters only and top 5 in the PRCA bullfights in 2017 as well as winning Reno and Pendleton last year! He finished 2nd out at Bullfighters Only in Vegas which is the largest bullfight in the world. Right now he’s sitting 2nd in the Bullfighters Only and 2nd in the PRCA bullfights.
Go get ’em Kris, we can’t wait to see you!
